Tiffany started her lifelong passion for dance like many young girls do. She attended a local studio and became inspired. Now her mission is to give that inspiration to others.
Her passion and love for teaching and choreographing began as a freshman in High School, when she became one of the founders of her High school Dance Team. As a sophomore she was elected Captain and Head Choreographer for the team. In her 3 years fulfilling this role she brought the team to three 1st place All New England Wins! They also competed at the National Dance Team Competition held in Orlando, FL ; where her team was announced the 7th best High School Dance Team in the nation!
Since 2004 Tiffany has been teaching a variety of dance styles, ages and levels at a variety of institutions including NVCC. In this time she has brought students to several competitions, winning a various amount of awards and top place finishes. She also enjoys hosting the annual showcase where she encourages students to show off their hard work and talents, while embracing the joy of performing!
Always eager to learn she regularly attends workshops and training classes. She has attended training with famous choreographers; Chris Judd, Wade Robson, Dave Scott, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels and many others from Broadway Dance Center, Steps in NYC and So You Think You Can Dance. In 2008 she received an Associate’s Degree in the Performing Arts. She is CPR/First Aid certified, and an AFAA group exercise instructor. She has also completed many business classes and certifications while being a retail manager and is now a proud member of the Dance Studio Owner’s Association.
In 2017 Tiffany decided to combine her talents and Danbury Dynamic Dance & Fitness was born. Its mission is to provide a friendly environment where dance and fitness knowledge flourishes. "We help the community live more confident lives one step at a time."
Alison’s love of dance began at 5 years old when she started taking ballet, tap and jazz. Over the years she expanded her repertoire to include hip-hop, lyrical and pointe and pursued her love at Springfield College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance, with a minor in psychology. While in school she was a member of the SC Dancers and the CT Titan All-Star Open Dance Team. She has continued her education by taking master classes and attending dance conventions throughout the tri-state area. She has taught all ages and genres at studios, educational programs and summer camps in CT and MA, and has coached and choregraphed for local CT high school dance teams. A featured dancer in Mike Lembo’s “Can’t Come Down” and Bgirl Trinity’s “Dance With Me” music videos, Alison has a fun, high energy approach to teaching and hopes to instill her passion for the art in the students at Danbury Dynamic Dance and Fitness!
Rebecca started dancing at a small competition studio under Christie Powell in 1998. She loved learning every style from jazz, lyrical, tap, to hip-hop. Rebecca competed for a few years before changing schools to the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance, where her passion flourished under James Robey in Ballet and Modern dance. During her years at the conservatory Rebecca was also an assistant teacher. She continues her training with Steps on Broadway and studied at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet summer intensives. Rebecca competed in the Jazz Dance World Festival in 2007, where she took master classes from teachers around the country and world. Rebecca was fortunate to study under some amazing teachers from ABT such as Susan Jaffe, NYC Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Giordano Dance Company, and follow her passion to studying Dance Pedagogy at the University of Hartford. After an unfortunate injury Rebecca changed her major to Elementary Education with a minor in sociology. She then went on to a double masters at Manhattanville College in General Education and Special Education. After a 5 year move to Aruba, where Rebecca taught at an international Montessori school and continued her love for movement in Yoga and Meditation, she returned home! Rebecca now teaches at a Montessori school near her home but has never forgotten her love of dance and is so excited to be at Danbury Dynamic Dance and Fitness to start a new journey!
